How to use itWhat is BloomGrow?
BloomGrow is a liquid microbial biofertilizer made by Bloom Bio. It's a 100% natural consortium of 42 groups of beneficial bacteria and fungi, plus enzymes, in a molasses-based carrier. You dilute it in water and apply it to the root zone, where it supports strong roots and better nutrient use.
How often do I apply it?
We recommend a starting point: 2 mL per liter in a normal watering, for microgreens at seed soak or the first watering. From there, adjust and learn what works best for your crops. If you water daily, use a lower dose each time.
How much do I use per tray?
About 1.25 mL of BloomGrow per 1020 tray, mixed at 2 mL per liter of water. That's about 0.6 L of solution per tray as a starting point.
How do I mix it?
Stir the concentrate first. If you use nutrients, mix them into the water first, then add BloomGrow at 2 mL per liter. Mix only what you'll use today: for example, 10 mL in 5 L of water covers 8 trays.
Can I mix it with my nutrients and other inputs?
Yes, keep your nutrients. It works best alongside them, so add nutrients first and BloomGrow second. Never mix it with hydrogen peroxide, chlorine or other sanitizers: sanitize and flush first, then apply BloomGrow.
Does it work in soil, coco and growing mats?
Yes. BloomGrow works in soil, peat, coco and hemp, jute or hydro mats, at the same recommended starting point.
Does it work in hydroponic and vertical farms?
Yes. BloomGrow works in water as well as in soil, so it fits soilless systems like NFT, deep water and vertical racks. For multi-zone systems, email us or book a grower call and we'll help you plan the dose for your setup.
How long does it last, and how should I store it?
Up to 5 years in the sealed bottle. Keep it sealed and out of direct sun. Once it's mixed with water, use it within 24 to 48 hours.
